Lopatcong Township Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Lopatcong Park shortly after 10 p.m. on Thursday, the department said in a release.
The driver, identified as Ryan Miller, 18, of Lopatcong, told police that he had just pulled into the parking lot when the officers arrived, authorities said.
Miller was asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say he did not pass. He was arrested and transported to Lopatcong Headquarters, where his BAC was tested at .11, authorities said.
Miller was charged with driving while intoxicated and released to a family member pending an appearance at Lopatcong Municipal Court.
